Mireya is an excellent host. She goes way above and beyond what she has to do to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Plus her home is BEAUTIFUL! This... read more is a gorgeous modern home in a secure guarded community. We loved walking around the community in the evening with our 2 little boys and absoluty loved seeing the monkeys in the tree tops. The community pool is great because there is one side that is shallow for little ones and a deeper side for adults or older children. I 100% recommend booking this house. Great house, great host, a wonderful safe community and amazing wildlife.

First thing first, Mireya is a wonderful host. She went above and beyond to assist us with anything we needed (sometimes not even related to the rental). We... read more truly appreciated all her attention and highly recommend her!!!
Ok, on to the property. We rented here long term. The neighborhood is as peaceful and tranquil as you can get. We saw monkeys off the rooftop patio the second day we were here. The neighborhood is only partially completed so overall the homes were few and far between which only added to the ambience. The pool is located in a jungle atmosphere and only a 2 min walk. We spent a lot of time at the pool. The home itself was clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything you needed to prepare meals with pots/pans/etc. Internet was good. Washer/dryer (single unit) worked well. We appreciated being able to do our own laundry without having to take them to a lavanderia. As an extra note - it would be beneficial to have a car here. You could get by with only using taxis but I feel it would become cumbersome. Overall we really enjoyed our time here and would absolutely would not hesitate to stay here again!

Great place to stay. Quiet residential park, apart from the hussle & bussle. Recommend a car to get around.

Mireya's house is in a wonderful community, with very helpful security guards that facilitate the delivery of packages and water. We enjoyed getting to know the monkey family that likes... read more to hang out in the backyard. They also like to hang out in the treetops while you're sat in the jacuzzi.
This is a great place to stay -- especially in COVID-19 times -- since the community is very safe and has easy access to everything you need. In general, the community is very quiet, but the only neighbor within sight is currently doing construction across the road.
We had some minor issues when we arrived and Mireya and her family addressed them immediately - I was really pleased with her rapid communication and regular check-ins. She was even accommodating enough to bring us a vacuum cleaner and mini-oven, as well as fumigate the place in an eco-friendly manner to accommodate us given our long-term stay.
If you intend to make this a working holiday, I would recommend having a backup internet source (even just the ability to hotspot yourself) as we struggled to both be on work-related Zoom/video calls at the same time. The internet also cut out randomly a few times - usually during serious storms. This was not a serious issue as I had the ability to hotspot myself from my phone, but I would say that (Hidden by Airbnb) Fi or a local provider's sim card is essential if you intend to work from home.
